Songwriter and recording artist Bill Wood is a Canadian music industry veteran. A Juno nominee with 80s pop band EyeEye, Wood has continued to write, record and tour, both with Bill Wood and the Woodies who have launched three albums including the most recent, Radiola, and as a solo artist and with various duos. Wood, who has called Picton home since 2018, recently released the album “Buds,” featuring slide guitarist Burke Carroll and others. His music can be found on all the usual streaming platforms.

Chris Bennett has a well-deserved reputation as an in-demand touring and studio musician. As well as his work on the road and in the studio with Bill Wood and the Woodies, Chris played lead guitar on the Stephen Stanley Band’s release ‘Jimmy & the Moon’ and on the Moe Berg produced ‘Yesterday’s Misadventures’ from the James Clark Institute. He has also released a solo LP, “Disenchanted World.”
Doors open at 5 pm so you can get settled with wine by the glass. Enjoy a one plate meal of mushroom harvest stew and crusty bread with a side salad will paired to three wines. Between each tasting, Bill and Chris will perform songs inspired by the pairings. You’ll be enjoying over two hours of live music performances by these two seasoned musicians in Karlo’s cozy Speakeasy wine lounge.
