Known in The County as the host of Mike in the Morning on 99.3 County FM and fronting The Sophiasburgh All Stars, Mike’s history goes back to Kingston and the band he co-formed there with 3 other members of FABB, The Pariahs, who were mainstays of the Golden Horseshoe rock scene for years, touring the UK twice and sharing stages w the likes of Teenage Head, The Tragically Hip and The Ramones.

Scott Megginson - bass, back up vocals

An original member of The Pariahs and Wild Blues Yonder. Scott runs the band because he’s good at giving orders, and laying down exceptional grooves all the day long. He humbly takes over bass duties from original FABB bassist, Joe Chithalen (The Mahones, Weeping Tile, JOYY), dearly departed.

Ian (Loaf) Woodward - lead guitar, back up vocals

Loaf knows the ins and outs of guitar-land so well he has a lifelong golden pass. Les Pauls are his favourite axes, and he wields them with chill intensity. (The Pariahs, The Commotionaires)

Bonz - drums and percussion

Known everywhere he has lived and played as one of the best drummers around (including Toronto and Kingston), and a consummate showman, Bonz delivers love and heart to every single beat he lets loose. (The Pariahs, Dead Root Revival)

Spencer Evans - keyboards, clarinet, lead and back up vox

Spencer Evans defines the term local legend; he is so commonly known as the king of all things music in Kingston that he appears on the city’s welcome sign on the 401. He has been , and continues to be, lead player in countless bands of his and others’ making. A day does not go by where Spence is not frantically pounding the keys, singing w abandon and generally serving the role of a musical shaman.

Nolan Hubbard is a multi instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, teacher and performing artist from Gananoque Ontario. He has spent the last 8 years writing songs, recording and releasing music, playing over 900 shows, touring across Canada and loving every minute of it. Nolan has recorded as a session musician for many various artists including Devon Cole and Your Paris, and had his songwriting used in the 2022 indie film “So I Married Myself” and had a debut album “Luminosity” played on CBC Radio 1 and local stations across the country.

When Andrew Makepeace Ladd III accepts an invitation to Melissa Gardner’s birthday party, and Melissa writes a thank-you note to ask just why he got her “The Lost Princess of Oz” (answer: she looks like a lost princess), a romantic friendship and correspondence destined to last for almost half a century is born. Both from affluent, East Coast families -- Melissa has more money, but Andy has better parents -- the friends communicate with each other through angst-ridden boarding school experiences, European adventures, failed marriages, and the ups and downs of career. Over the course of their lives, Andy and Melissa’s relationship goes through many changes, as the sometimes-sweethearts/sometimes-friends go through periods of estrangement, and the intense, clandestine affair which will accelerate Melissa’s emotional breakdown. Despite the painful differences which will ultimately tear them apart, they remain each other’s most trusted confidante, and are “true lovers” on paper, if not on the earth. A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters is a tender, tragi-comic, and nuanced examination of the shared nostalgia, missed opportunities, and deep closeness of two lifelong, complicated friends. While spanning five decades and numerous locations, it is staged simply, with two actors behind desks or sitting in cozy chairs, letting their words describe a world of emotion.

Robert Keys will be the featured opening musican on Sunday the 23rd starting at about 1 o’clock.

Mason Forsey Mackinnon is a 21 year old Singer Songwriter from the Belleville area. Over the course of the last 3 years he has performed on over 130 occasions in bars, restaurants, brewery’s, theaters and more. As a songwriter, he incorporates many styles into his writing, often implementing influences of rock, folk, pop, blues and jazz. Lyrically, he tends to use metaphors and stories to interpret events from his life in a way that makes sense to him. Mason is also a recent graduate of the Music and Digital Media Program at St Lawrence College. While enrolled he spent a large portion of his free time studying music theory to hone his skills as a songwriter and musician.  When attending one of his shows, one should expect to hear classic covers from the 70s-90s, original songs and jazz inspired instrumental compositions. You can often find him engaging the audience with his quick sense of humor.
